WATCH: Meg & Dia's acoustic performance of "Black Wedding."
In the five years since Utah-bred sisters Meg and Dia Frampton founded the band that bears their surnames, the pop-rock quintet has toured the US tirelessly, making believers out of thousands of Warped Tour-goers, and gaining such influential fans as Angels & Airwaves and Plain White T's along the way.
When they haven't been busy showing Stella from ShockHound how to cook high-cholesterol meals, Meg & Dia have also managed to record and release two albums of powerful and sophisticated pop music — 2005's Something Real and this year's Here, Here and Here.
In the above video clips, the band explains the meaning behind the latter title, as well as what drives them musically and the inspiration behind their single "Black Wedding," which they play for us in an acoustic Shock Session. Enjoy!
