The summer music festivals of 2008 are now long gone, but 2009’s music gatherings are already gearing up. Get your calendars ready.
The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, one of the most anticipated music festivals of the year, will be held at Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA on April 17-19, announced today.
Country music extravaganza, Stagecoach, will be held the following weekend at the same venue on April 25-26.
Last year’s Coachella headliners included Prince, Jack Johnson, Portishead, Justice and the Verve. No word has surfaced for next year's headliners. Let the rumors begin. How about a Smiths reunion? Led Zeppelin? TV on the Radio? Kris Kross?
Stagecoach stages showcased the Eagles, John Fogerty, Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw in 2008.
Line up and ticket information for 2009 will be released in the coming months.

Coachella's line-ups seem to get weaker every year.
I hate Coachella. It's too hot, there's too many people... and the Port-a-Potties! I mean... I don't want to say I'm too good to use one, but you get the idea.
omg, and if they add en vogue, BBD and ABC it will be like 8th grade all over again! minus milli vanilli. who i worshipped. of course.
JUMP JUMP!!
I didn't think anything could top Portishead last year, but Kris Kross would be off the hook!
Kriss Kross!
