Do you like thinking you are artsy and creative, but really just lame and like chest tattoos? If so this album is for you. The wonderfully 'talented' Craig Owens and Johnny Craig FINALLY join forces to create a megazord of SUCK on this, the first Isles and Glaciers album, "The Hearts of Lonely People". The name of the album is fitting, because if you like this album, you will truly be alone forever, because you probably live in a trailer and spend all your monmey on Osiris shoes, and your Friday nights on teasing your hair so you look sick at the next firehall show where your favorite local band, The Sky is Falling, opens for your towns biggest (AND MOST BR00T4l) band, The Red Sky Comes Forth with Ants of Fire Triple X Straight Edge Jesus Core. Back to the album: the dual vocal work of Craig and Johnny is compelling. And by compelling I mean, I'd rather eat a chode then ever hear this piece of crap album. Dudes from Boys Night Out, The Recieving End of Sirens, and Underminded are in this? Really?? Semi decent bands, joing forces with two of the biggset jokes in the music industry today, to form a supergroup of whining, "fake art", high pitched girly singing, and sick br00t4l screamz. Oy vey, this album gives me the blood skins.

i am very scared of DevonDisast0r... just for the rest of the users on here. Hardcore is not always the answer. and the fact that the featured review is the most negative on here concerns me. I think we all need to post something thats on a more common ground eh?

This compilation of quite the talented boys have composed a beautiful masterpiece with this EP! I can't stop listening to it! Every ounce of sound and emotion poured into this is so creative and wonderful! I put it on at least 3 or 4 times at work as well, and even get my coworkers and customers just as hooked as I am. I'm hoping for a small tour, or even a surprise performance at Warped this year. Much love and support in all you do guys :) <3

This Album is tastefully done well. A lovely high pitched singer, and a slightly less high pitched raspy voice actually give the album a nice feel and gives you a spine tingling sensation. Not to mention this album was put together using the genius from all members over the digital world. Highly impressive. Considering this will probably be their only recording as a group together, as the super group have different commitments to different bands, this album should be behold as one of the great music compilations in the 21st century. Personally if you listen or even consider the distasteful review made by DevonDisast0r you probably more than likely dropped 20 IQ points. From his 1337 talk to his constant bashing he is probably the worst example of a Hot Topic employee, who are supposed to be open minded, but I guess you can't consider much from a guy who is a Hit and Run fan of bands ( by that I mean you like em and ditch em ). Back to the music, Synths are the main flow to the music with heavy drums played in the background to help keep up with the constant movement of high and low pitches along with the subtle guitar in the background make for a pleasant sound. The First two songs, Kings and Chandeliers and Hills like White Elephants pretty much coincide with each other. While the rest of the songs have a sing song melody to them. There is a bit of screaming in the album, but nothing too hardcore, as we all know that would not go along with the alternative pop punk sound they have going on in this album. So its something that flows in nicely. If I would have to compare their sound to other bands it would have to combine Owl City, Breathe Carolina, MayDay Parade, and a little Neon Trees. Very Nicely done guys considering this was all written in 10 days with a few hours of recording time. I am proud you did this all in this amount of time, and have it to come out to this great crescendo is amazing! I will hold this album with me in my collection for all time, and everyone else should do the same! :)
